Luc Bertrand CBA, WaW balloons, Belgium

Over 20 years experience with balloons combined with both a creative and commercial schooling gave Luc a solid base for a successful business. Together with his wife Ines, Luc runs wAw Balloons, a renown balloon shop in Belgium.

Instructing balloons since 1996, He loves passing his knowledge on to others. Luc has won numerous awards for his balloon decor work and is known for his innovative compositions, techniques and commercial balloon creations for all types of clients.

His biggest reward however, is seeing his designs being sold by colleagues. He is convinced that by sharing new techniques and passing on his knowledge, he is helping to build a solid foundation to ensure the future of the balloon industry.

Luc has been teaching for Pioneer® in over 45 different countries all over the world. At the Qualatex event 2001 He was recognized as “best overseas instructor” At the World Balloon Convention 2016 In New Orleans, Luc had the honor to receive as the fourth person worldwide the Golden Light award acknowledging his ambassador role for the balloon Industry.

Masako Nomura CBA, FuwaFuwa, Co.Ltd., Japan

Masako started learning balloon in1998 by attending Emily’s Balllon Art Business School in Japan. In 2003, Masako won the 1st place at “TV Champion” on major Japanese TV show. Masako has been nominated in many balloon art conventions in Japan and overseas including WBC as an instructor. However, with her love for joining competitions at these events, Masako has passed on the teaching opportunities.

She never stop pursuing pioneering new world of balloon art works and it is a reflection of true artist sensibility. In 2010, Masako became the first Japanese balloon artist being nominated for honorable “Master Designer” at WBC 2010. Her balloon art which is in abundant of warmth of balloon characters and the highly skilled techniques captures many people’s heart.

Lily Tan, Myairtitude, Singapore

Lily is a renowned artist that has won many awards including Guinness World Records, Asia and Singapore Book of Records. She is widely recognized for her innovation and excellence in Balloon Sculpting. What began as an accidental hobby evolved into her passion. In her work, there is never a moment of boredom and routine. She constantly seeks new and fresh ideas to transform plain-looking balloons into fascinating sculptures. Her audience is often awed and captivated by her creative and inspirational designs.

Lily is regularly invited to many corporate events, private functions and educational institutions to showcase her talent. Lily has published several books on balloon sculpting, as well as several sets of D.I.Y. Balloon Kit since 2006. Some of her works were selected and published in Sharm-art (Russian Magazine), QUALATEX Calendar 2012 ; 2014 and Balloon Images Magazine.
