Family and Variety Entertainers (FAVE) Convention Event Recap

event_FAVE_logo.pngBilled as an event for all ages and all types of entertainers, FAVE certainly delivered this past November! From twisters, to clowns, to face painters, to magic and puppetry masters, over 180 delegates gathered in Las Vegas to share and learn from one another.

Qualatex-sponsored instructor Christopher Lyle of Balloons with Style by Christopher Lyle in Justin, Texas, USA, taught several classes on the art of twisting. Christopher hosted the daily Jam room, complete with rousing and fun competitions! Known more commonly as the “Guy in the Yellow Suit,” Christopher’s classes ranged in skill level, including hat-making, animal sculpting, creating magic routines centered around balloons, and much more. There was definitely something for everyone.

“It was another successful convention,” said Fred Harshberger, FAVE Balloon Competition Director. He explained, “Although a variety arts organization, with classes on a range of subjects for family entertainers, we were very happy to have the balloon portion of our event hosted by Qualatex again this year. Keeping costs down for attendees is one of our goals and having classroom supplies and a sponsored balloon jam room provided by Qualatex was a great bonus to the convention!”
